Privacy Policy
Effective June 26, 2026
Global360 Assurance ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, with whom we share it, and the rights you have over it. This page is maintained by Global360 Assurance to answer common privacy questions about our membership coordination service.
1. Information We Collect
- Account data: name, email, phone, password hash, language preference.
- Membership data: plan, beneficiaries, emergency contacts, family vault entries, mailing address.
- Case data: information you submit when reporting a death or loss, including the name and circumstances of the deceased.
- Sensitive data: where lawful and necessary, identity and consular documents you upload to your document vault.
- Technical data: IP address, browser, device, pages visited, and aggregated usage analytics.
2. How We Use It
- To deliver and coordinate death-care and repatriation services.
- To authenticate you and operate the member portal.
- To bill memberships and process renewals.
- To send service notifications, case updates, and (with your consent) marketing.
- To comply with legal obligations and consular requirements.
3. Sharing
We share personal data with funeral homes, airlines, consulates, and government authorities only as necessary to coordinate the services you request. We do not sell personal information. We may engage processors (hosting, email delivery, payments) under contractual confidentiality.
4. International Transfers
Repatriation is inherently cross-border. By using the Services you understand that your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States.
5. Retention
We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected and to meet legal, tax, accounting, consular, and reporting obligations:
- Account & membership records: for the life of your membership and 7 years after termination.
- Case & repatriation files: 7 years after case closure, to satisfy consular and carrier record-keeping requirements.
- Billing & tax records: 7 years from the date of the transaction.
- Marketing contact data: until you unsubscribe, then suppressed (not deleted) to honor your opt-out.
- Web analytics & security logs: typically 13 months in identifiable form, then aggregated or deleted.
- Family Vault uploads: until you delete them or close your account; then purged within 90 days, subject to any active case hold.
After the applicable retention period, records are securely deleted or irreversibly anonymized.
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you live (e.g. EU/UK GDPR, California CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email privacy@global360assurance.com. We respond within 30 days.
7. Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, role-based access controls, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong password and notify us of any suspected unauthorized access.
8. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and a small number of analytics cookies to improve the service.
9. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Family members under 18 may be enrolled by a parent or guardian as covered dependents only.
